About Matilde!
I've been helping women feel good about their hair for nearly 30 years.I began studying hairstyling in New Orleans in 1995 and started working professionally in 1997.Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with women of different ages, backgrounds, hair types and styles.I perform haircuts, color, highlights, perms, keratin treatments and hair straightening.What matters most to me is making sure my client is happy when she/he leaves my chair.I don't believe in rushing through an appointment.I take the time to listen to what you want, work carefully with your hair, and pay attention to the details.Sometimes that means spending a little extra time to get things just right.I've had women sit in my chair who were nervous because of a bad experience somewhere else.One of the best parts of my work is seeing that nervousness disappear when they look in the mirror and smile.Whether you speak Spanish or English, you'll always be welcome in my chair.Matilde, Hairstylist, Independent hairstylist located inside San Juan Hair Studio
